Design of mountain-bike crossbar and its FEM analysis

The aim of this diploma thesis is the part of evolution of the new bicycle frame for mountain biking, category enduro. The first part of this thesis is focused on creating dimensional modified model of the bike frame in CAD system SolidWorks. Subsequently this frame will be detailed by FEM analysis in software ANSYS Workbench and determine boundary conditions for this analysis. The final part is about visualization of the new bike frame.

Title: Freestyle kiteboarding methodology Aims: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to compile а methodological approach throughout the training of kiteboarding tricks. Methods: The thesis was written on the basis of the analysis of the documents, it is а expert work. The method of content analysis was used for the data processing from the Internet and books which were used as the main sources of the information and subsequent description of individual tricks. More information were gained by the informal way - interviewing the professional riders. Equipment for activites in unkempt winter terrain

The topic of this study is an equipment used in unkempt terrain of winter mountains. The study is of a purely descriptive nature. It describes the whole scale of equipment used for skialpinism, freeride, backcountry, telemark and trekking. Its content is divided into several chapters according to purpose and utilization of a single types of this equipment. First part describes an equipment for the moving in winter terrain itself, second part deals with an equipment connected with a security and rescue operations. Third part is devoted to backpacks. Following chapter describes an outdoor wearing, next one is focused on an equipment needed for spending the nights in winter nature. A separate chapter then describes other supplementary equipment and finally the last part is devoted to the description and characteristics of an equipment for mountain climbing. Each chapter mentions a concrete examples of an equipment available today.

Origin and evolution of modern mountainbike disciplines

Title: Origin and evolution of modern mountainbike disciplines Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compile of history of modern mountainbike disciplines. Next aim is to describe of this disciplines' beginnings in their birthplace in Canada and California. The development of freestyle and freeride and evolution of bike issues trends was delineated too. Some consideration was put to evolution of bike obstacles and to evolution of bike community as such. The next regard was put to pioneers of modern disciplines of this sport, especially to freeride and downhill. Trends in endure issues was said too. Methods: The main information from MTB region and its modern disciplines was processed bz direct historical method and methods of induction and deduction. Research through the retrospective, quantitative and comparison methods was used marginally. Results: The results of this thesis will help to understand where the MTB phenomena is being taken nowadays and will help to understand of influence of extreme MTB disciplines on its community in the local regions and in the world. Singnificance of bikeparks in tourism

This bachelor`s thesis is focused on characterizing the current situation in Czech republic. This is being achieved above all by comparison with foreign bikeparks. The aim of the thesis is to describe the situation of bikeparks in Czech republic in context with the bicycle touring industry. It strives to find the significance of bikeparks for tourism and to suggest solutions of future development of bikeparks. The thesis contains description of cycling disciplines that are closely associated with bikeparks. Research used in thesis is in form of questionnaires and in form of price analysis and by comparison with foreign countries.
